Principal, Pension Administration Outsourcing Practice Leader
Ray Waymel is a Principal of Retirement Horizons who joined the Firm in June 2009 to further develop the Pension Administration Outsourcing practice. In addition, he has shared responsibility for developing business strategy and marketing of RHI services. Ray has over 25 years of benefits administration and outsourcing consulting experience working with all sizes of companies including many Fortune 500 organizations. He has a proven track record of helping clients transform and streamline their HR administration. His expertise in the field includes:
- HR operations in a BPO arrangement managing Benefits, Payroll, Learning and Development, HRIS, Employee Relations, Compensation, and Staffing & Recruiting.
- Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, and Health & Welfare administration transformations to best-in-class models.
- Retirement plan design, implementation, maintenance and administration of both qualified and non-qualified retirement programs.
Prior to joining Retirement Horizons, Ray served in many leadership roles in the Benefits and multi-process HR outsourcing practices at Hewitt Associates. He was a partner/owner at Hewitt when the firm had its public offering in June 2002. Ray graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1982 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science.
